Our privacy promise

The short version: you pay us, so nobody else does. We do not sell your information, we do not run advertising, and we ask for as little as we can.

What we never ask for

Your Social Security number.
Your date of birth.
Your bank or brokerage login.
Your mailing address or telephone number.
Your card number: Stripe handles payments and we never see it.

If anyone claiming to be Heavenly Finance asks you for any of those, it is not us. Forward it to help@heavenlyfinanceguides.com.

What we do collect

Your email address, so you can sign in and get your receipt.
Your first name, only if you choose to give it, so we can say hello.
Your membership details: which plan you are on and when it renews. Stripe holds the payment details.
Which guides you have read and how far, so we can offer to take you back to where you stopped.
Basic visit information, such as which page you arrived on. We store a scrambled, one-way version of your network address, which cannot be turned back into your address, and we use it only to stop abuse and to count visits.

Who else sees it

Only the companies that make the site work, and only what they need:

Stripe takes your payment and holds your card details.
Our hosting and database provider stores the site and your account.
Our email provider delivers your receipts and sign-in links.

We never sell, rent or trade your information, and we never hand it to advertisers or data brokers. We would only give information to a government authority if the law required it.

Cookies

We use a small number of our own cookies: one to keep you signed in, one to remember your chosen text size, and one to remember which link brought you here. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not let other companies track you across the internet.

Emails

We always send receipts and important notices about your membership. Anything else, such as news of a new guide, is your choice, and every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link that works in one click. Our emails only ever come from help@heavenlyfinanceguides.com, receipts@heavenlyfinanceguides.com, updates@heavenlyfinanceguides.com. Sign-in links and password resets come from noreply@notify.heavenlyfinanceguides.com.

How long we keep things

We keep your account for as long as you have one. Records we must keep for tax and accounting, such as payment records, we keep for seven years. Visit records are deleted after a short period.

Your choices

See or correct what we hold: it is on your account page, or ask us and we will send you a copy.
Delete everything: press “Delete my account” on your account page. It removes your account and everything in it, and cancels any membership.
Stop the optional emails: untick the box on your account page, or click unsubscribe.

If you live in California or another state with its own privacy law, those rights apply to you too, and asking us costs you nothing and changes nothing about your membership.

Children

This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18.
