Who we are
Heavenly Finance is a small, independent publisher of plain-language money guides for Americans aged 55 and over. We write about Medicare, Social Security, wills, taxes in retirement, scams, and everyday budgeting: the things that are genuinely confusing, and where a bad guess is expensive.
Why we exist
Most money writing is either written for people who already understand it, or written to sell you something. We wanted a third thing: an honest explanation, in ordinary words, of how the rules actually work, so you can walk into an appointment knowing what to ask.
How we make money
Entirely from memberships. We take no advertising, no commissions, no referral fees, and no money from banks, brokers or insurance companies. Nobody pays to appear in a guide, and nobody can. Because you pay us, we work for you and for nobody else.
How the guides are written and checked
Every number in every guide traces to a primary source: the agency's own pages and the current year's official figures from ssa.gov, medicare.gov, cms.gov or irs.gov. Each guide lists those sources with the date they were checked, and carries a note at the top saying what changed and when. Where a rule varies by state, we say so instead of giving you the federal answer and leaving it there.
We publish under the Heavenly name rather than a personal byline. What we offer instead of a resume is the sourcing: every figure is checkable against the government page it came from, and we tell you the date we checked it. If you ever find a figure that does not match its source, email us. We will fix it and say so in that guide's changelog.
We are not financial advisers and this is not financial advice. It is an explanation of how the rules work, so you can make your own decision or ask a professional a sharper question.
What we will never do
- We will never sell, rent or share your personal information.
- We will never ask for your Social Security number or a bank login.
- We will never phone you unless you ask us to.
- We will never make cancelling difficult. It is two clicks.
- We will never use countdown timers or fake scarcity.
